Music is such great therapy. I’m having one of the worst days/nights in a very long time and music has put me in such a great mood. Currently reading old posts on the site and jamming some Danzig-era Misfits. All I need is a cold brew!

DOWN "NOLA" album.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFEDhm3dWkY

This album features Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Pepper Keenan (C.O.C.), Jimmy Bower (Eyehategod) and Kirk Windstein and Todd Strange of Crowbar. Basically it is a New Orleans super group. One of my favorite albums of all time.

Your music hurts my ears! I totally started out as a metalhead, but then I got old or something, LOL. I still like virtuosic guitar players, but I’m now more into gypsy jazz stuff, like this:

It’s all good, though. Just wanted to add a different "flavor."

Whip it is fine. Safety dance, she blinded me with science, video killed the radio star, girl you know its true and songs like too shy all make me cringe when I hear them. Come on Eileen sucks too but I can sing the hell out if it I hear it.

I liked groups like golden earring and the talking heads

Soze

Edit: girl you know its true actually makes me cringe just reading it

Hahaha. I grew up in the 80’s, so those songs don’t bother me. In a weird way, I kinda like them… Don’t tell me you also cringe when you hear Rock Lobster?

Limp Bizkit Greatest Hits

I can’t stand Limp Bizkit, well Fred Durst, but I kinda like a couple of songs from their first album. Don’t tell anyone though! I am currently listening to Vanilla Ice "Greatest Hit" album, it’s a single.

George Clinton and the Parliment Funkadelic were headlining a FREE show really close to my house tonight, and I did not hear about it until my girlfriend just texted me pictures from the concert. We never have concerts on this side of town, and I love me some P-Funk so I would have loved to go check it out before I came in to work. Oh well. :(

Some metal will put me in a better mood, so it’s time for Megadeth’s "Countdown to Extinction," which is one of my top 5 albums of all time!

Limp Bizkit Greatest Hits

That is an oxymoron. ;)

Kind of like "scenes with Jar jar Binks that don’t make me want to scream." 1999 was a bad time for the world.
