Superdoublebingo. IMO the Calif Maritime Academy is the hottest issue regarding Z. Deana Hooper and Elaine Faye Lehtinen may be the names connected to that one, including the Enlisted Men’s Club.

QT,
There is no Enlisted Men’s Club at Calif Maritime Academy. All the students are officers in training for the US Merchant Marine.

*ZODIACHRONOLOGY*
Wonder who Mr. Barrett is after. Since it came up that he attended the California Maritime Academy, graduating in ’70, I looked through the Hawsepipe yearbook for that year (I love how the academy has uploaded all the books, why can’t all institutions do that!). Definitely found Barrett there.
There were quite a few guys who would fit the sketch (the Barryessa one particularly). As usual. Here’s some interesting "profiles". I didn’t include the names since many of them are still alive but obviously they can be found in the yearbook.
"GB"…Executive Officer 2-E. . .Hawsepipe Staff. .Dean’s List…
Ring Dance Committee. . .Mild mannered cartoonist, GB Hall, turned
into a Super Chief once aboard the TSGB. . .Between the camping trips
in the mail truck and regular pilgrimages to the follies, GB found many
hours to study in earnest. . .plans to ship and then go back to school,
where we are sure he will camp, make pilgrimages and study in earnest
. . .remember the teacher portraits!
(^This guy looked a whole bunch like Berryessa sketch)
"Bubba" or "LoLo" or "Bluppa". . .Bubba was always thinking and talk-
ing about his friend Jose Cuervo. . .Creator and founder of the Fat Man’s
Club.. .Broadswords were his great love, but nothing could compare
with his allegiance to Crom and Conan. .Bluppa was very mechanically
inclined; he could fix anything at a moment’s notice. ..Like at 0500
in Tahiti in ’68. .."What spoon in what Red Goat?". . ."I’m going to
flunk out, want to join the Army with me?"…Wants to ship upon
graduating.
"Bob" or "Maaa".. .Newman Club
. . .Propeller Club.. .A devout ping-
pong player and sheep rancher.. .He
loved his ’59 Chevy and his curls. . .
At various times, Bob found himself
all wound up in condensate drawings
and racing in the parking lot. . . The
number two golfer always took kidding
very well and was one of Norman’s
favorites.. .Plans to ship, go back to
school, and make some time at Davis.
Redrock" or "Hud". . .Executive Officer 1E. . .Pistol Team. . .Red,
a member of the magnificent eleven, followed faithfully in Conway’s
and Rietman’s IE footsteps. . .Was known for his distinctive saunter and
his flair for letter writing. . .participated avidly in all water sports and
also found time for a little Tahitian Bar Room Boxing. . .the Chico
State Express spent many a summer ridin’ and ropin’.
"Robby".. .Always had some kind of pocket book in his hand and had
the unique ability of reading it through any classtime movie. ..Was an
avid Conan fan and claimed to have some broadsword fencing ability.
Bob could always be found listening to classical music and designing
sailboats in his room. .Wants to ship on a square rigger someday.
"Loren". .Ring Dance Committee. . .the Stockton hard guy. .. The
hottest car on campus.. . Clickety, clickety click…remembers— 20
minute trips to Stockton, Strawberry Lake, and most important, Oly.. .
"Oly, Oly, Oly"…hated women, hated parties.. .Loren didn’t like
his hair, so he had it fall out this year.
