"The San Francisco TV station KGO ABC 7 will feature a story about the Zodiac case on Friday, February 14, 2014. According to Investigative Producer Jim O’Donnell, the new ABC story will examine one of the many tips reported to police regarding possible Zodiac suspects. This time, a New York man claims that a friend once confessed that he was the Zodiac killer. The segment will also include a brief recap of the Bay Area crimes. The Zodiac story will air during the 11:00 PM news broadcast and will available to view on the ABC 7 website approximately one hour later at midnight (Pacific Standard Time)."

Can anybody record this? Maybe link a recorded or youtube version? Thanks, let me know how it is

Someone at ZK.com is saying that this has been postponed, I have no idea if this is true or not. Dan Noyes, who is the investigative reporter at KGO-TV still has the piece posted on his Twitter page and nothing saying it will be postponed. https://twitter.com/dannoyes

Here is a picture of the new suspect from that Twitter page. The suspect is named is Louie Myers.

Louie, used to play in a band. Dated a popular pretty girl.
Don’t think he was very tall?

Not sure why, but that guy’s name sounds familiar, and I did not know he was the suspect until yesterday when I was alerted to it be two different people. Maybe I will go back thru the reports and see if his name is in there.

These articles are for two different stories on page 1 of the 1/26/70 Oakland Tribune. Coincidence I guess. Seagull, is this guy the right age to be the Louis Myers in question? And you see where he was rescued from? Putah Creek, Lake Berryessa connection?

I should have added the rest of the Putah Creek rescue story on here, here it is, about a Friend on shore-

"Malcom Cameron of San fran" Not sure who Malcom’s parents were, and Cameron is somewhat common last name, but in the 1970 SF directory, there are a bunch of people by that last name. A couple interesting ones reside at:

Ruth Cameron 2380 jackson, where Z was last seen walking

SL Cameron 2363 jackson, also same block

SA Cameron 7555 Geary, possibly in area where Z was picked up by Stine???

Fay Cameron 2243 Washington st

Peter Cameron 6340 Geary

If the Louis Myers who allegedly claimed he was zodiac, was the same guy rescued from Pudah Creek, alongside Malcolm Cameron, and Cameron lived at one of the above addresses, that would be of interest, in my book

Also, not in same area, but there is a MRS. GEORGE T. CAMERON at 5th & mission listed as working for the SF Chronicle.

EDIT: There is a HUGH C. CAMERON at 3830 Divisadero, if Z really cut thru the presidio, he would have been walking towards this address possibly.

As I said, any of these addresses linked to this 20 year old Malcolm Cameron, may be of interest

I don’t have a Hogan yearbook so I can’t check it out. Looking through the records at Ancestry I do not see a Louie or Louis Myers that died in New York who was that age or even close. I actually can’t get a bead on the guy and I don’t know if it’s because his name might be misspelled in that email that Tom posted or what. I’ve tried different spellings of both the first and last names.

This is big news some how? A man heard his friend say, he was the zodiac killer …. well get in line . Did he at least make up a crude Z hood ?
Hey Noyes .. he did it , if he did it to get attention from the press , like running out onto the field at a ballgame .

Here is Louie Myers in a JV baseball team photo. He’s in the bottom row, second from the left.

And the class picture that is on Dan Noyes Twitter and Facebook accounts. Myers was in the junior class and would have been 16 in 1969.

Edited to correct which class Myers was in.

I would like to see someone at ABC7 News do a Zodiac Killer story asking why Law Enforcement has been unable to produce any new
DNA results, in spite of several crimes scenes and letters sent by the killer…

Thank you Seagull for posting this for me, I had to leave for the day and didn’t have time to bring it from Tom’s to here. I have been on overdrive this past week!
