Interesting theory, but I’m not entirely sure how to read those calenders. You say that "they all fall on the 1st day of the 13 moon calender week", but isn’t July 4 on the 8th day of that moon month?

the first day of the week in one month in this calendar falls on the 1, 8, 15, and 22.ie the dali cross hair symbol.
7/4/69 may be the 8th day of the month, but the first day of the week, on the DALI column and every one on this list was murdered either on 1, 8, 15 or 22 but always on the left row and the first day of each individual week, under the cross-hair symbol.

the first 12 of these murders between December 20th 1968 ( Lake Herman )and October 25th 1970 ( Nancy Bennallack ), in just a 22 month period all strongly have been linked to Zodiac, and all fell at the start of this calendar week. If we believe the Halloween Card on October 27th 1970, he was searching for victim 14, ie had killed 13 already, these 12 are not only likely victims , but all just happen to fall on the first day of the week, each month, of the 13 moon calendar.
The odds of this are massive.
You can run through all the possible victims on the previous forum, before October 25th 1970, as I did, and there are countless and I could not find one that fell into the criteria to fall on the first day of the 13 moon calendar week. Then suddenly Zodiac appears on 12/20/68 and 12 victims in just 22 months all land on the DALI column and the first day of this calendars week.
That appears too much of a coincidence.

Seeing that the 8’s did line up for the first 3 attacks, made me wonder about the cypher and what I have felt were 3 8’s and not sloppy Taurus symbols .Excellent find, this doesn’t seem to be just another coincidence. As it turns out my suspect drove a car with the license plate "3—-888". For me that is another nail in his coffin, thank you very much!

The Zodiac chose his victims by date and in the text on the ‘My name is cipher’ letter the Zodiac states ‘I have killed ten people to date’, it just depends how you read it. As he did on the Little List Letter, when on the 13th line of his Mikado recital he used the words ‘Are up in dates’.
I have looked closely at the 13 symbol cipher sent to the San Francisco Chronicle on April 20th 1970 and found it contains perfect symmetry and have arrived at this so far (Below), but am still working on it and need some ideas to progress it further. Anyone who can help, would be greatly appreciated.
