Great Uncle, would be the grandson of Ross’s surviving Brother. I agree, it’s disgusting when people try to fake crap like this, or mislead people.
Another reason that I think it’s fake, is that the person zooms in on the clock and you can see the hands look like Zodiac’s crosshair symbol. Like they were drawing attention to it. The year on the video is supposed to be 2009, and Ross wasn’t even being discussed as z back then.

People who post the videos can filter comments before they are posted or disable them altogether. Unfortunately, some really nasty stuff can get posted when those who created the videos don’t care.

It sucks because I for one legitimately want to know if Ross was Z, and rule him out. If he wasn’t Z, he wasn’t Z, and i think it sucks that People would make this garbage up, 1 because it hurts the cause, and 2, because if he was not Z, it is stuff deliberately created & based on fiction to cast him in a bad light.

I agree morf. It hurts the cause. It was stupid for someone to do this when you and others have put legitimate efforts into investigating Ross. Someone is just desperate to prove they were right. This just confirms to the family that some people at these message boards are nuts. (You might even consider removing this thread Morf)

Not sure exactly what they told you, but in my experience when someone has discovered a brilliant way to get a user’s IP address, it turns out what they’ve actually discovered is that you can – very easily! – get the IP of the server your computer/device is connected to. Which tells you absolutely nothing – other than the fact that you’re currently browsing YouTube, or Zodiackillersite, or whatever the case may be.
I’m sure you can get an individual user’s IP through some hackery or other, but even that isn’t very useful in terms of tracking down the person. If the idea is to ascertain whether said user is identical to another user (e.g. someone on this site), however, I suppose you might narrow that down to a fair degree – even though most regular, private Internet subscribers do not have static IPs (meaning that "dimwit666"’s IP may show up as A today and B tomorrow even though he’s not doing anything actively to make it so).
It is really bad to link to it, since members watch it, it gets views, and then gains in the search rankings on youtube. Probably be a good thing to remove the link. At least is only has dislikes.
